A Bit of Levity

26 May

Just after Memorial Day Weekend, doesn’t everyone get the doldrums? Well, here’s a bit of levity to brighten the day! This story was taken from Uncle Andy’s Digest…

A  bus load of tourists arrives at Runnymede. They gather around the guide who says, “This is the spot where the barons forced King John to sign the Magna Carta.”

A fellow at the front of the crowd asks, “When did that happen?”

“1215,” answers the guide.

The man looks at his watch and says, “Darn it! Just missed it by a half hour!”

Thanks to Uncle Andy’s Digest of Lewiston and Auburn, Maine for bringing this bit of levity to us! 😆
